Sutton on Trent Festival Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September

We shall be holding our two annual Greyhound Shows at Sutton on Trent Festival on the 4th and 5th of September. . This year we will be choosing the RGT East Midlands and Nottinghamshire Supreme Champion with all last years Best in Show Winners from The Barlow Show and Sutton on Trent Show (both days) to be invited along with Best in Show winner from the Barlow Show and the Kirkfields Equestrian Centre Show, Best in Show Winner of Saturday 2010 Sutton on Trent Show. This class will be judged at the show on Sunday afternoon. Class lists will be published on the website earlier the event. There will be Child Handler Classes and Fancy Dress - if you would like to hire a Fancy Dress Costume on the day it will be £3. Registration for all classes will be from 12.00 noon on both days £1.50 per class per dog. We are looking for sponsors for our classes and if you are interested in sponsoring a class it is £25 for ordinary classes and £50 for Best in Show.

A big thank you to everyone who came along to our BBQ on Sunday. Thankfully the weather was really kind and over a hundred dogs came along to enjoy a lovely day. I apologise if we didn’t get around to see you all in person, it was a bit of a hectic day but something to be repeated. The next one will be on 26th December on Boxing Day. We raised £82.52 from the refreshments and BBQ and we want to say special thanks to everyone who came along but also huge thankyou’s to alll our lovely volunteers who worked on the BBQ and stalls. Here’s to the next time and Happy Hounding it was great to see all the greyhounds in such wonderful condition thank you for taking such good care of them.
